#Sips - Roodberg 2016

#SundaySippin Tonight, I’m chillin’ (HARD), watching Netflix (“The Great Hack” - you MUST), and sipping on this very interesting red blend from South Africa. @roodeberg_wine 2016. I LOVE South African wines. They are, at times, both complex yet easy to drink. This beauty starts off quite stiff out of the bottle - definitely needs some air. Later it smoothes out, brings fruit forward but maintains a good amount of spice on the back-end.

I wish I had a good cigar or rack of NC smoked baby back ribs on hand tonight. Both would have been awesome pairs. It’s not my favorite SA wine, def needs a food companion but the longer it airs, the more juicy it becomes. Would buy it again.
